The Victory Arch was originally constructed southeast of Dixon-Eilers, near the corner of College and Third Streets, with the Victory Bell originally located between it and Schaller Memorial Chapel.

"College administrator William "Bill" Wesselink reassembled the arch from the remnants of Old Main after it burned down in 1956. The arch was moved to its current location during the mid-1980s during the construction of the Siebens Forum."
